St. Bede's is a Christ-centered servant community rooted in Holy Scripture, tradition and reason as practiced by the Episcopal Church. As an expression of faith: We accept and embrace all children of God and welcome traditional and non-traditional households in our church family. We worship God in a creative, participatory liturgy as prescribed by the Book of Common Prayer. We seek to provide spiritual nourishment for all members, encouraging them to follow their own spiritual pilgrimage through devotion, study and stewardship. We and all Christians are called by our baptismal covenant to do God’s work in the world and with our brothers and sisters of other traditions and faiths we seek to do so individually and as a parish. |
Welcome! Join us for worship this week. 1601 South Saint Francis Drive, Santa Fe, NM 87505 (corner of San Mateo) 505-982-1133 stbedes@cybermesa.com An on-call member of the clergy can be reached at 505-603-2285 |
From the Letter of Paul to the Romans Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers. 60+ers Lunch Tuesday, July 27 at Noon. You are welcome to lunch! Our own Camille Flores will discuss her new book, Santa Fe Icons: 50 Symbols of the City Different. Camille is a great speaker and you will enjoy hearing her stories of our historic town. St. John's Bag 'n Hand Pantry Needs Your Help You can help with a non-perishable food donation each Sunday. Bag 'n Hand Food Pantry is a food distribution center located at St. John's United Methodist Church, operated entirely by volunteers as an outreach program of St. John's and the Santa Fe interfaith community, with major support from The Food Depot in Santa Fe. St Bede's plays a small part each Sunday when food donations are collected in the foyer and brought to the altar during the offertory, to be shared between the Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families and Bag 'n Hand. Click HERE to learn more about Bag 'n Hand, and click HERE to learn more about The Food Depot. On Vacation Until September: Sunday Adult Forums and the Choir are on summer break.
