Dear Friends,

On Thanksgiving Day 2008 I began my 12th year as Rector of St. Bede’s.
My wife, Carol, and I arrived here at St. Bede’s in 1997 from our native
New England. Had anyone said to us a few years before that one day we
would become residents of Santa Fe, New Mexico we would have replied
with disbelief. There’s an old saying, “If you want to hear God laugh tell
God your plans.”

I have been privileged to be Rector to a wonderful, loving, inclusive,
active church. St. Bede’s is grounded in Word, Sacrament and Music.
This foundation is our springboard to discipleship in God’s Kingdom.

I now joyfully welcome each and everyone to this wonderful community
of faith. I know you will experience the special gifts of love and openness
that so deeply mark the meaning and life of St. Bede’s.
